As we've entered a new month, Mr 20 months is edging ever closer to turning two and I can't quite believe it. This month there seems to have been a biiiiig brain developmental leap and he's suddenly so into things like colours and matching. It's been super fascinating to watch these skills engage him and develop.
I don't have a specific time when I rotate his playroom, I do it very much based on observation - when it seems right to. However, it does often end up happening at least every month usually in order to ensure the resources and toys out are those that are going to be supporting and benefiting his developmental stage.
Here's the toys & resources that he's had on his shelves at 20 months old. See below for details on each toy or activity.

As always, we have a selection of gross motor options continuously available for Mr 20 months. This month we've been loving the Lily & River Arch/Rocker and Balance Beam, as well as our trusty TP Toys Active Tots Range where we've gone for the cube and ramps combination!
I'll do another update at 21 months, and I'm going to try and backtrack a little too and share previous months as I know I'd have found that helpful through baby and early toddlerhood!
Happy Knowing & Playing ☺︎
